International Polar Bear Day

February 27

  • « Show The Love
  • World Wildlife Day »

International Polar Bear Day is an annual event celebrated every February to coincide with the time period when polar bear mothers and cubs are sleeping in their dens, and to raise awareness about the conservation status of the polar bear.

Polar bears are one of the most at risk species due to climate change, so what can we do to help them? Polar Bears International focus on the need to protect denning families across the Arctic.
