South Tyneside Council are hosting a climate summit to help shape a Sustainable South Tyneside Strategy for 2025 and beyond.
The focus of the event is on what the opportunities arising from the growing green economy in South Tyneside are and how can businesses position themselves to take advantage of them?
Over five days, they will be bringing together key stakeholders from across the borough and the wider region to celebrate success, identify opportunities and barriers to help us to develop our next Sustainable South Tyneside Strategy. Sustainable South Tyneside 2025 & Beyond is designed to bring together public sector organisations, businesses, community groups, and partners.
This business sustainability expo is an opportunity for local businesses to highlight their work around sustainability and discuss opportunities for and barriers to further net zero initiatives. It will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration between businesses and other organisations aimed at supporting borough-wide Net Zero initiatives as part of forming a new borough-wide strategy.
