Furniture

Like with clothing, there are some creative ways that we can upcycle old furniture.

With a bit of paint, some wallpaper, an arts and crafts kit and of course, a bit of imagination, watch as that dull old fashioned bookshelf becomes a feature proud to sit in any 21st Century modern home, or that table which is transformed into something befitting of being at the heart of the kitchen. The Good Housekeeping website includes some great examples of furniture that has been transformed into items you’d pay good money for. And like with any form of recycling or upcycling, the beauty is there is no right and wrong. Simply have fun and see what you could achieve.

Not only could it save or earn you money, you will also be playing a part in the reduction of unnecessary waste generation and potentially waste to landfill.

Why not share your upcycling project with us – get in touch and send us your story and some photos!
