Environment in War Protection Day

The environment often remains an unpublicized victim of war. Wars can lead to water pollution, deforestation, damage to soils and crops, and the mass killing of animals. While war is unfortunately inevitable, we can still raise awareness about the importance of protecting our environment. This day was made to educate and encourage environmental protection during wars.
