Textiles

How many of us are guilty of having cupboards and boxes full of clothes that are doing nothing but gathering dust? Or perhaps your loft or garage is full of furniture that you will never use again but haven’t got round to clearing out yet.

But what if those unwanted items could be given a new lease of life – either for you to once again love or to sell onto someone who has real use for them. Remember – one man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure so think about that when you come to have a clear out. Rather than the bin, could that old skirt that doesn’t fit, the shoes you never did get round to wearing, the curtains you took down when you redecorated but didn’t do anything with or the table and chairs that were too much like hard work to move be recycled, repaired or upcycled?
