June 29, 2023

  • « World Rainforest Day
  • World Population Day »

The International Day of Tropics celebrates the diversity of the tropics as well as the problems and opportunities that nations of the Tropics face.

The Tropics are a region of the Earth, roughly defined as the area between the tropic of Cancer and the tropic of Capricorn. They are faced with many challenges including deforestation and climate change. The biodiversity and ecosystems are in danger and international tropics day is the day to take action against these problems.
