Come join Food Durham for a delicious and thought-provoking event at REfUSE! Get ready to indulge in tasty treats while engaging in meaningful conversations about the future of food where you live.
Food Durham, the food partnership for County Durham, invites you to explore some of the challenges we face when it comes to food, and what the answers might be.
Is the food system serving communities around County Durham what they really want?
In particular, what changes would you like to be made to food available outside the home; in cafes, canteens, schools, sandwich shops, convenience stores, drive-thrus, vending machines and other food places you and your family go for food when you’re out?
Let’s explore who holds the power to bring about change to make food better.
Whether you work in the food sector or are just interested in making food better, whatever your interest in food is, everyone living or working in County Durham is invited.
· Make connections, build relationships and hear the views of people in your community
· Contribute to a desperately needed push for food system change
· Explore how to become more active in shaping the future of food.
