Food for Thought: Restaurant night

Mon 15 May 2023 - 7:00 pm to REfUSE Cafe 143c Front Street Chester-le-Street DH3 3AU

In partnership with the Vegetarian Society and Durham Council, we are serving up a tasty meal with a difference – a menu created with food that would otherwise have been destined for landfill and costed according to each dish’s carbon footprint.

So, why not join us for this exclusive event which celebrates the launch of National Vegetarian Week, a UK wide campaign to introduce more people to the joys of eating low carbon, vegetarian food?

Who’s cooking?

REfUSE’s founder and director, Nikki, will be in the kitchen for this one: cooking a delicious seasonal, vegetarian and vegan menu. As always there will be gluten free options and we will do our best to cater to other dietary needs if you tell us when you put in your food order.

How much?

We ask for a booking fee of £5 per person, then on the night you can expect to pay between £5 and £25, depending on what you order – the menu and costs will be sent to you in advance.

How do I book?

Book through the Facebook or the Eventbrite event. Please email info@refusedurham.org.uk if you have any issues or questions with your booking. You can also book at the cafe in person during our normal opening times.
