Going Green Together Online Launch: County Durham Focus

Wed 13 Jul 2022 - 10:00 am to 11:00 am Online via Zoom

Going Green Together, is a campaign supporting  voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and communities in the North East and Cumbria to take action on the climate emergency, support nature and biodiversity and ensure a just transition to a low carbon future for our communities.

As part of the launch of their new project they have included an online event focused on County Durham.  The event will include a presentation about Going Green Together, what they are doing and how your organisation can get  involved. It will also include break-out activities to provide a taster for what to expect, to learn more about your organisation’s environmental needs, and an opportunity to meet other organisations in the region and discuss how you can collaborate together in sharing knowledge and strategies in tackling the climate crisis.

While this event has a County Durham focus, any organisation from the North East or Cumbria may join if they are unable to attend our other events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are looking to make their first steps towards environmental reform within their organisation, those who want to discover more, and for those who are already embedding environmental practise in their organisation but  are looking to collaborate with and help other organisations do the same.

You can sign up to the event through the VONNE  website.
