North East: Mayoral Hustings

Wed 17 Apr 2024 - 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm Elvet Methodist Church, 8 Old Elvet Durham DH1 3HL

This discussion will be chaired by Dr Margaret Masson – principle of St Chad’s College Durham University.

Climate Action Durham will ask them the question:

“Using the power accorded to them as Mayor, how would they set about reducing the CO2 emissions in the North East that are needed to mitigate the climate emergency; and how would they propose to tackle the biodiversity crisis?”

Questions and discussion will follow their presentations. If you wish to ask a question, please email it to climateactiondurham@gmail.com.

You can book your place on eventbrite.
