Riverfest 2025 is a free family fun day, organised by the Wear Rivers Trust, with the aim of connecting the people of Bishop Auckland to nature and their local river.
It will be a festival style event with live music from JD and the Woodsman, as well as a wide range of vendors promoting awareness of climate change and local environmental issues.
There will be a range of community engagement workshops on a programme throughout the day.
Food and drink will be available to buy from the rugby club bar. Feel free to bring a deck chair along!
