Emergency Response

Climate change poses one of the greatest threats to human life and has the potential to cause catastrophic problems for generations to come.

Immediate action is critical if we are to avoid the worst impacts of this climate emergency. It is important that we look at and address the issues in our area, to reduce our contribution to this international crisis.

Many local councils and organisations have declared a Climate Emergency and produced plans to action to combat climate change. Have you considered forming your own emergency response as a community group? Action could be taken through energy projects, campaigning, or behavioural change. Not only could community action have a positive impact on climate change it could bring your community closer together, increase community spirit and help build relationships.
