Community Group Events and Campaigns

Communication is important in any setting, whether it relates to personal, business, community, it is a foundation that humanity and society rely on. Efficient communications help build relationships, supports information and knowledge sharing and its importance cannot be underestimated.

Community groups play a fundamental role in the community and knowing their audience places them in a strong position when communicating effectively. Given that climate change in part is rooted in human behaviour, they are well positioned in informing and supporting their local communities change the learned behaviours and adapt to more environmentally ethical behaviours.

Create a campaign or local movement or join an already established campaign.

It is important to be flexible and creative when dealing with communication and tasks in general, being flexible allows you to cope with change more calmly and adapt to problems if they do arise. Encouraging creativity can also be beneficial as when groups are given the freedom to be creative, they may find more efficient or new ways of working, find solutions to problems, and make better decisions when unexpected issues do arise.

Speaking with others is paramount when trying to communicate effectively as it allows us to form connections, influence decisions and motivate others to positive change. Communication can help people even from different social groups with a community come together to share information and exchange ideas in a positive and productive way.
