Develop integrated Building Energy Management System (BEMS) across DCC portfolio

Progress Update

BEMS Contract awarded until 2029. Upgrades/installs have been completed at the Story, Corten House and the following Leisure Centres: Abbey, Newton Aycliffe, Peterlee and Teesdale. Aycliffe Secure Centre, and Louisa Centre will be complete in 2025. Further roll out of BEMS remote monitoring, installations and upgrades have been affected by IT and procurement limitations (this is an ongoing issue which we are trying to address).
