Some preliminary work to gauge interest in No Idling Zones within school areas and looking at those schools within the Air Quality Management Plan first, to gauge motivation. 2. Deliver a public awareness campaign regarding switching engines off at bus stations, taxi ranks and other drop off and pick up points etc. 3. Consider a 'No Idling' policy across the whole of the County Durham Footprint.

Current diesel contract is due to expire is October 2026.
