2. Deliver a public awareness campaign regarding switching engines off at bus stations, taxi ranks and other drop off and pick up points etc.
3. Consider a 'No Idling' policy across the whole of the County Durham Footprint.

Some challenges with regards to capacity to deliver and influence 3rd part land owners to partake, and legal complexities of leasing and subletting with revenue and funding streams and volume of leases required (over 200 for LEVI pilot plus potentially 150-200 for this project) conversations to work this through are ongoing.

A meeting is scheduled for early Q1 2025/26 to determine the market readiness and willingness to tender for a ZE service, as well as highlighting operational and feasibility issues with the procurement of a ZE service.
